She was predeceased by: her parents, Casimiro Medrano and Nestora Medrano; her son Willie Valdez; her daughter-in-law June Valdez; and her siblings, Danny Medrano, Juan Medrano, Maria Deases, Georgia Barrera, Adela Obregon and Lupe Santana.
She is survived by: her daughter Georgia Arias (Ben); her sister Otilia Morin; and her grandchildren, Cindy Valdez-Bryant, Sharon Valdez Laughter, Jackie Valdez Boone, Arnie Valdez, Tobias Tijerina, Rori Tijerina, Abraham Arias and Andrew Arias. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren: great, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
