He is survived by : his former life partner Carole Newman; his wife Carol Botello of San Saba; his son Ruben Botello (Alicia) of Tyler; his stepdaughters, Kelly Self (Jim) of Vidor, Alida Korns (Kevin) of Deer Park and Nancy Hart (Kenneth) of Vidor; and his siblings, Thomas Duarte Botello of Lubbock, Felix Duarte Botello of San Saba, Mauro Duarte Botello, John Duarte, Maria Santos Ramirez of San Saba and Pauline Perez (Joe) of San Saba. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, seven, great-grandchildren, one, great-great-granddaughter.
