She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Newell Smith and Minnie Josephine Smith; her husband J. R. Edgerton; and her children, Robert Edwin Edgerton and Judy Beth Edgerton.
She is survived by: her siblings, Peggy Spinks of San Saba, Janie Manning of Hamilton, Texas, Sam Smith of Stephenville and H. N. Smith, Jr. of Mustang. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
