Nita left this world on November 5, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgle Green McCann and Loretta Faye (Pruitt). She is survived by: her husband Larry Rathbun of Sanger; her children, Tori Hardcastle Dunn of Garland and Thomas Chad Hardcastle of Sanger; and her grandchildren, Khane Hardcastle (Aubrey Hardcastle) and Kayla Kelly of Burleson.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Coker Funeral Home (403 Pecan St, Sanger, TX 76266). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Mound Methodist Church (8421 N Interstate 35, Denton, TX 76207). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Bolivar Cemetery (6918 Farm to Market Rd 455, Sanger, TX 76266).
