Scotty Burgess Obituary

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Burgess and Ruth Burgess of Lake Village, Arkansas.; his mother-in-law Raney Grooms Mara; his siblings, Jack, Otto, Pelham and Louise Porter; and his parents-in-law, Alvin, Geneva Dawson, Eugene Grooms, Jalmer, Chris Grooms, Curt, Nancy Cowley, Thuron and Lillian Thompson.

He is survived by : his wife Yvonne of Sanger, Texas; his children, Dewayne Burgess of Denton, Texas and Lavona Burgess; his granddaughter Liana Burgess of Sanger, Texas.; his siblings, Steve Burgess of Lake Bridgeport, Texas, Frank Burgess (Ann) of Tyler, Texas, Earl Burgess (Deborah) of Camden, Arkansas and Judy Carpenter of Hamburg, Arkansas; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Burgess of Searcy, Arkansas, Jane Burgess of Chico, Texas, Gussie Groves (R. L.) of Chico, Texas and Willine Grooms of Chico, Texas. He is also survived by other friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any gifts to be directed to the benefit of the Chico Masonic Lodge in his honor.
