It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Pauline Scott of Santa Anna, Texas, who passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Vanpelt and Irene Vanpelt; her husband James E. Scott; her children, Detra Kay, Virginia J. Dillard and R. B. Dillard Jr.; her sister Cora Juanita Wood; and her daughter-in-law Cora Dillard.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Dillard of Santa Anna, Eddie Dillard (Phyllis) of Santa Anna and Dorothea Estes (James) of Bangs; and her grandchildren, Jason Trichel, Christina Trichel Ison, Janai Dillard, Andrew Dillard, Elaine Liles of Santa Anna, Lisa Thomas of Brownwood, Jackie Eldred of Santa Anna, Mary Dillard of San Antonio, Chris Christian of Sherman and Alisha Marlaina Philyall of Miami Oklahoma. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
