For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Knotts and Margary Knotts (Hinkel); and her sister Kathrine Kamman. She is survived by: her children, Randy Schattel of Santa Fe and Venita Sheldon of Nassau Bay; her sister Armeda Smith of Pasadena; and her grandchildren, Ian Sheldon (Jessica), Colin Sheldon (Michaella Petrosky) and Iris Musso. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hayes Grace Memorial Park (10708 Hwy 6, Santa Fe, TX 77510).
