She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Garcia and Santos Garcia; and her brothers, Luis Garcia, Daniel Garcia and Santos Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Jorge Luis Ruiz (Reynalda), Carlos Ruiz (Aurora), Jose Ruiz, Soraida Yanez (Pablo) and Emilio Ruiz Jr. Irene; her grandchildren, Jorge Luis Ruiz Jr., Cassandra Ruiz, Iris Ruiz, Carlos Ruiz Jr., Elizabeth Ruiz and Juliana Ruiz; and her great grandchildren, Matthew Kingston Ruiz, Laileny Ruiz, Sebastian and Santiago Ruiz. She is also survived by 7 sisters and 2 brothers.
