She was predeceased by : her grandparents, Abelardo "Lalo" Vela and Maria E.; and her uncles, Eduardo Vela and Martin Vela. She is survived by : her daughters, Kamila Houston and Jayla Houston; her husband Kevin Houston; her parents, Abelardo "Mocho" Vela and Eliza Vela; her siblings, Tres Vela and Sonja Vela; and her grandparents, Noe and Amalia Gonzales. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
