She was predeceased by: her parents, James Malone and Ada Malone; her children, Sarah Victoria McNeil Higashi (Teruhiko "Terry"), Michael McNeil and James Kevin McNeil; and her grandchildren, Shataira Davis and Sheldon McNeil.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Jean Morris, Lawrence McNeil, Gwendolyn Johnson Houston (Norman), Paul McNeil and Kimberly Wallace Whitaker (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Keith McNeil (Lisa), Michael Anthony Whitlock, Lawrence Allen McNeil Jr. (Niki), Donnelle McNeil (Lila), David Johnson, Dr. Candice McNeil Cowley (Philip), Rachel Houston McKinstry (Quinton), Sai Higashi, Cora McNeil Miller (Stefan), Mychal Gradford (Amy), James McNeil Jr. and Ahmad Shannon. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, numerous extended family members, and beloved friends.
