Guadalupe DeLuna Brazil Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Guadalupe DeLuna Brazil of Schertz, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Santos DeLuna and Feliciana DeLuna (Alvarez); her grandmother Mimi'; her husband Richard D. Brazil, Jr.; the father of her children Abran Zavala Sr.; her siblings, Juanita D. Contreras, Epifania D. Perez, Pedro DeLuna Sr., Jesus DeLuna, Elogio DeLuna and Santos D. Longoria; her nephews, Michael Longoria, Ismael Perez, Israel Perez and Pedro DeLuna Jr.; her great-niece Dominik Mendoza; and her great-nephew Anthony DeLuna.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Alice Spence (Steven) and Abran Zavala, Jr. (Cassandra); her grandchildren, Christopher Spence (Vanessa), Andrew Spence (Xin), Joshua Spence, Phillip Spence and Brittny Zavala; and her great grandchildren, Andres, Mayli and Grayson. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, 44 great-nieces and nephews, 104 great great nieces and nephews and numerous extended families.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home (2217 FM3009, Schertz, TX 78154, USA). A rosary will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home & Crematory (2217 FM3009, Schertz, TX 78154, USA).
