He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harlan Clair Garrett and Margie Garrett; his wife Susan; his brother Richard; his children, Harlan Donald, Roger (Mike), Margie (Maggie) and Miguel; and his grandchildren, Brooke, Lily, Bradley, Harlan Edward and W. Matthew.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home & Crematory (2217 FM3009, Schertz, TX 78154, USA). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
