We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2023, at the age of 77, James Hood of Seguin, Texas, born in Minden, Louisiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Hood to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cortez Hood (Pearson) and Elmer Hood; his brother Larry Hood; and his parents-in-law, Dorothy "Dot" (Pape) and Marvin "Ted" Henderson.

He is survived by : his wife Shari Hood; his daughters, Dana Kincaid (Carlton) and Kelli Hutka (Michael); his grandchildren, C. J. Kincaid, Cassidy Kincaid, Evan Hutka and Krista Hutka; his brother Dan Hood (Patsy); and his brother-in-law Galen Ted Henderson (Latricia). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends.
