She was predeceased by: her husband Artemio G. Montoya; and her parents, Jose Angel and Mercedes Perales (Sepeda). She is survived by: her children, Rene Montoya (Maria), Rita Robles (Juan), Irene Montoya, Abel Montoya (Arcelia), Benjamin Montoya (Rosie), Elizabeth Montoya and Beatrice Montoya; her grandchildren, Christopher Montoya (Jessica), Erica Escobedo, Amanda Montoya (Emanuel), Abigail Torres (Adam), Crystal Montoya, Stephanie Tamez (Richard), Joshua Montoya (Nicole), Clarissa Montoya (Myles), Llamar Vasquez Jr., Ryan Montoya and Nicholas Saldana; and her siblings, Jesse Perales, Angel Perales Jr. (Joe), Victoria Lopez, Josefita Perales and Guadalupe Chavez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and other family members.
