It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Jean Armstrong-Fennell (Seguin, Texas), who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Mildred find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Fennell and Gladys Fennell; her son Barry McKnight; and her sister Joyce Clack (Andrew Hill). She is survived by: her son Russell Fennell (Jeannie); and her siblings, Dorothy Jones (Lonnie), Erma Fennell, Herman Fennell (Kelly), Ernest Fennell Harvey Smith (Debbie) and Jerry Smith (Diane). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tres Hewell Mortuary (165 Tor Dr, Seguin, TX 78155). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (609 S Guadalupe St, Seguin, TX 78155). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Memories Cemetery (6609 E U. S. Hwy 90, Seguin, TX 78155).
