She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Teichroeb (Wolfe) and Abram Teichroeb; and her husband Jacob Friesen. She is survived by: her children, Jacob Friesen, Jr. (Lisa) of Seminole and Sara Friesen (George) of Seminole; and her siblings, Gertruda Berg of Canada, Anna Redecop (Jacob) of Canada, Helena Siemens (Heinrich) of Mexico, Maria Siemens (John) of Seminole and Heinrich Teichroeb (Helena) of Mexico. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
