He was predeceased by: his parents, Odeal Sims (Robinson) and Hugh Thomas Sims; and his wife Mozelle Sims. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Fields (Jim) of Earth, Tona Nelson (Larry) of Seagraves and Treva Tuttle (Mike) of Seminole, Texas; his brother Arlis Sims (Shirley) of Lingleville, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jessica Falcon (Dale) of Olton, Jayme Willden (Jordan) of Seymour, Jeremy Nelson (Bree) of Seagraves, Dustin Nelson (Angel) of Seagraves, Danielle Kahlich (Phillip) of Hereford, Kaci Tuttle of Midland, Garrett Tuttle (Bethany), Justin Tuttle of Midland and Kayli Tuttle (Chris Navarro). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
