With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erma Lee Houston (Shamrock, Texas), born in Stratford, Texas, who passed away on February 17, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Gresham and Martha Gresham (Hartless); her daughter Rita Rakestraw; her grandson Eldon Rakestraw; and her great grandchildren, Jacob White and Tandi White.

She is survived by : her spouse Tolbert L. Houston Jr.; and her children, Joyce Morgan (C. R. "Cotton") of Bronte, TX, Claudette Mierzwik of Greenville, TX and Ronnie Laramore (Susan) of Canyon, TX. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
