We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025, at the age of 79, James Micheal Lewis of Sherman, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James Micheal leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Lewis and Robbie Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lewis; his children, Darren Lewis, Dee Ann Lewis and Christi Light; and his siblings, Sharon Givens, Vicki Dosser and Alan Lewis. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel (637 W Van Alstyne Pkwy, Van Alstyne, TX 75495). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
