He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul Walla and Cleo Walla (Redden); and his siblings, Richard Hill, Gerald Masangale and Jessie Ann Grossman.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Walla of Sherman; his daughters, Tracy Walla Ganzer of Sherman and Kelly Walla of Austin; his grandson Brody Ganzer; and his siblings, Lilla Boatwright of Krebs, Sharon Sheffield of Lane, Suzy Graham of Caddo Mills, Texas and Larry Walla of McAlester, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
