Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mildred Seidenberger (Shiner, Texas), who passed away at the age of 97, on September 27, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, William P. Hewig and Hettye Hewig (Herder); her former husband Max Schroeder, Jr.; her son Judge Gary J. Schroeder; and her siblings, Franklin, Elo, Leonard Hewig, Earl Hewig, Roy Hewig, Willis Hewig, Irene McLeroy and Irma Nolley.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Laura Schroeder of Smiley, TX; her grandchildren, Jennifer Gottschalk (Brian) of New Braunfels, TX, Gary Schroeder II (Julie) of Fort Collins, CO, Fanci Baker (Jordan) of Alamogordo, NM, Kasie Carroll (Courtney) of Buda, TX and Colt Brown (Lori) of Poth, TX; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Autumn, Grayson, Hudson, Lilith, Liam, Elliot, Olivia, Luz and Arch. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church (306 S Ave F, Shiner, TX 77984). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
