She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wheeler and Eula Adell Shockley Merchant; her sister Clarissa; and her brother-in-law Sidney Cooper. She is survived by: her husband Gerald E. Thomas; her son Gerald Dan; her daughter-in-law Jeanette Thomas of Simms, Texas; her daughter Patricia Ann; her son-in-law Nick Dyke of Simms, Texas; her brother Jimmy; her sister-in-law Joyce Merchant of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; her grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Brandon Thomas (Melissa), Threesa Sadler (Terry) and Daniel Rogers (Kassie); and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sidney, Sam, Ben Sadler, Jay Cee, Rylee, Charlee Rogers, Ayla, Chloe Ann, Christopher and Brady Thomas. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
