We bid farewell to Celestina Melendez (Sinton, Texas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 11, 2025 at the age of 83. Celestina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Francisco Melendez; her siblings, Ernestina E. Gonzalez, Florinda Escamilla and Miguel Escamilla; and her granddaughter Julissa Melendez.
She is survived by: her sons, Raul Silvas, Francisco E. Melendez Jr. (Julie), Michael Melendez, Javier Melendez (Emma), Rigoberto Melendez (Erika) and Peter Melendez (Aimee); and her sisters, Conchita Gonzales of Beeville, Juanita Borjas of Beeville and Janie Martinez of Idaho. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A prayer was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton, Texas.
