As Gary departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his son Gary DeLaCruz, Jr.; and his grandmothers, Aurora Vela and Fransica Guerra. He is survived by: his parents, Delma Vela and Cruz DeLaCruz (Arlene) of Odem, Texas; his brothers, Cruz DeLaCruz Jr. of Taft and Bobby DeLaCruz of Odem, Texas; and his fiancée Ruby Hernandez of Skidmore, Texas. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
