She was predeceased by : her sister JoLynn (Bobby McDuff). She is survived by : her former life partner Lawrence F. Champagne II; her grandchildren, Carmen, Allison, Cody and Caden Champagne; her spouse Jerry Peden of Fort Worth, Texas.; and also, Glenda and Julie.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marrs-Jones Funeral Home (110 American Legion Rd, Smithville, TX 78957). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (400 Olive St, Smithville, TX 78957).
