She is survived by : her close friend Matias Reyes; her children, Stephanie (Matthew RodriQuez), Michael (Jennifer Benavides), Veronica Benavides (Vica), Elizabeth (Gabriel Nevarez) and Matthew Benavides; her stepdaughter Christina (Javier Vargas); her siblings, Adam (Carmen Mendez), Rebecca Mendez (Becky) and Martha Mendez; and her half-sister Angie Mendez. She is also survived by Nana had 21 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.
