It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Petra Garza Gonzalez of Sonora, Texas, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Eligio Martinez Gonzales and Paula Garza Gonzales; her husband Telesforo Gonzalez, Sr.; and her siblings, Genaro, Alejandro, Eugenio, Luciano Gonzalez, Francisca, Esperanza Gonzales and Engracia Hernandez.
She is survived by : her children, Francisca G. Avila of San Jose, CA., Maria Munson of Southlake, TX. and Telesforo Gonzalez, Jr. of Ft. Worth, TX.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren, who were the love of her life.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (311 W Plum St, Sonora, TX 76950).
