He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Vanlandingham and Sadie Vanlandingham; and his sister Linda Ray. He is survived by: his wife Gail Vanlandingham; his grandchildren, Chelsea (Timothy McWilliams), Collin (Elin Vanlandingham), Josh (Aly Stephenson), Juli (Davis Warren) and Jacob (Noemi Stephenson); and his great grandchildren, Mandy Holland, Jeremiah McWilliams, James Vanlandingham, Milo Stephenson, Reagan Warren and Dominic Stephenson.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home (519 S Evans St, Spearman, TX 79081). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church (401 N Bernice St, Spearman, TX 79081).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jimmy's name to the First Assembly of God Church, Spearman, Texas.
