It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Zatopek of Speegleville, Texas, born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Zatopek and June Zatopek (Walker). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Zatopek of Speegleville; his children, Mark Clayton Zatopek of Hewitt and Courtney Zatopek of Speegleville; his siblings, John Zatopek (Elizabeth), Patrick Zatopek, Thomas Zatopek (Cindy), Susan McGehee (Charles), Brenda Rosenberg (Murray) and Gail Guinn (Quintin); his parents-in-law, Richard "Dick" and Sandy Van Dyke; and his brother-in-law Rick Van Dyke (Terri). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
