He is survived by: his significant other Hilda María López; his children, Jaime López (Luz Dary Cristancho), Esperanza López (Gabriel Vasquez) and Jairo López; his grandchildren, Laura Vasquez, Diego Vasquez, Paola López, Lina López and Oscar López; his great grandchildren, Isabela, Sebastian and Sofia; and his siblings, Diocelina López and Primitiva López.
