She was predeceased by : her parents, Ermon Arlington Porter and Essie Virginia Taylor Porter; her grandparents, Linney Knight, William Taylor, Earlie Porter and Lois Browning Porter; her stepfather Tom L. Young; and her siblings, Eulene Porter Hester and Walcie B. Porter.

She is survived by : her spouse Hoge Keith Brandenburg; her children, Pamela Jean Brandenburg Ferreira (John Joseph Ferreira, Jr.) and Diandria Faye Brandenburg Oldfield (Craig Joseph Oldfield); and her grandchildren, Christian Lorian Brandenburg and Joshua Evan Oldfield. She is also survived by her family and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Earthman/Dignity Funeral Home (13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 19099 Interstate 45 N, Shenandoah, TX 77385.
