He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hofferek and Mary Hofferek (Wiest); his former wife Charlotte Hofferek; his brothers, Ervin and Robert; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Bunten, Jimmy Knight, Alvis Byron Knight Jr. and Barbara Kimball.
He is survived by: his wife Glennie Hofferek of Spring; his children, Kaylon Hofferek of Trinity, Byron Hofferek of Princeton and Wesley; his daughter-in-law Linda Hofferek of Stafford, Virginia; his stepchildren, Charles Beauchamp of Spring and Julia (Kurt Brown) of Montgomery; his sisters, Janell Bunten of Austin and Mary Ann (Dickie Watson) of Smithville; his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Hofferek of Smithville and Shirley (Mike Bell) of Monroe, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Ashley Nowakowski, Joseph Hofferek, Victoria Williams (Hofferek), Jayson Hofferek, Rylan Hofferek, William Hofferek, Madison Hofferek, Marlinda Hofferek, Wesley Hofferek, Maddalen Hofferek, Maraliese Hofferek, Lauren Laney, Kathryn Brown, John Paul Beauchamp and Jessica Schmania; and his great grandchildren, Natasha Hofferek, Rin Williams, Kilian Schmania and Stella Schmania.
