It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Grover Russell Sr. of Spring, Texas, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (9318 Homestead Rd, Houston, TX 77016). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
