He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, C. "Red" Hurst and Bernice Justice Hurst; his wife Susan Englert of Richardson; his children, Christopher Blake Hurst of Austin and Wendy Nicole Hurst Martin; his grandchildren, Nathan Hurst, Rebekah Hurst, Scarlett Martin, Keagan Martin and Rose Martin; and his siblings, Tim Hurst (Ginger) of Austin and Kathy Hurst White of Lubbock. He was also cherished by his parents, grandparents, and many relatives.
