She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ard and Jennie Freeman Ard; and her children, John Benton and Tina Welch. She is survived by: her husband Allen Wilson of Lumberton; her sister Helen Hutto of Town Bluff; her children, Marie Willis (Robert Willis, Jr.) of Colmesneil, Becky Ramirez (Migual) of Colmesneil and Michael Benton (Tabitha) of Spurger; and her grandchildren, Richard Knappick, Dustin Willis, Sandra Ramirez Baker, Joshua Ramirez, Gabriel Benton, Isabella Benton, Rosaleigh Benton, John D. Benton, Naomi Benton, Kevin Welch, Kerry Welch and Kelly Welch. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
