He was predeceased by : his father C. V. Court, Sr.. He is survived by : his former life partner Roberta Jean Jester; his wife Jean Court; his children, Debbie (Chip Court), Caroline (Chris Court), Jennifer (Brian Hammer) and Jan (Saul Keeton); his sister Mary Louise; and his brother-in-law Wayne Ivey. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, their spouses, and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Earthman Southwest Funeral Home (12555 S Kirkwood Rd, Stafford, TX 77477). A rosary was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (1510 5th St, Missouri City, TX 77489).

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels, to Houston Hospice, or to Holy Family Catholic Church.
