She was predeceased by : her parents, Pedro Soto and Benita Soto (Macias); and her aunt Andrea Kittley. She is survived by : her husband Nick Cantu of Stamford, TX; her children, Patricia Gonzales (Angel Garcia), Tammy Cantu, Chris Cantu (Stacy), Alex Cantu, Adrain Cantu (Heather) and Melissa Cantu; and her siblings, Jack Barrientos of Dallas, TX, Tony Barrientos of Dallas, TX and Nellie Cantu of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous friends.

A rosary was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tankersley Funeral Home (807 Columbia St, Stamford, TX 79553). A Mass was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church's. Swenson (419 New Braunfels St, Stamford, TX 79553). A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Cemetery (2000 N Swenson St, Stamford, TX 79553).
