She is survived by: her husband Bruce Boardman of Stephenville; her sister Diana Childress of Montreal; her children, Kathleen Huckabee (Bill) of Stephenville, Jim McElyea (Suzanne) of Dallas and Russell McElyea; her stepchildren, Amy Hunt (Brian), Iffat Khan (Faisal) and Bill Boardman; and her grandchildren, Alex Mitchell (Huckabee), Dani Grothouse (Huckabee), Brandon Huckabee, Saalika Khan, Margaret and Julia Hunt.
