It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annette Burns (Stephenville, Texas), who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Annette find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert David and Janice Anita Curtis (Hanes); her husband Charles Michael Burns; and her sister Chris Curtis. She is survived by: her children, James Burns (Kourtney) of Wolfe City, Texas and Sarah Wallace (Jeremy) of Stephenville, Texas; her grandchildren, Nathan Wallace and Emmalee Burns; and her sisters, Sherry Sims of Stephenville and Tricia Wortley of Stephenville, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West End Cemetery W Washington.
