He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Welch and Mary Welch (Barton). He is survived by: his brother David Welch (Letha) of Proctor, Texas; his sibling's children, Danielle Greenwood of Stephenville, Texas and Dylan Welch of Proctor, Texas; his great-niece Mataya Thornton of San Antonio, Texas; his great-nephew Patrick Brown, Jr. of Houston, Texas; and his cousin Joyce Bratt of California.
