He was predeceased by: his parents, James Olen (J. O.) and Inez Kate Martin (Hastings); and his siblings, Roy Martin, Louette Gann and Gloria Stabeno.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Martin; and his children, Mary Ohland (Ken), Michael Martin (Sandy), Melody Lindig (Henry), Mandy Jarzombek (Paul) and Freddie W. Martin Jr.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
