She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonnie Staggs (Anderson) and Harry Staggs; her husband Jimmy Person; her brother Larry Staggs; her brothers-in-law, Bobby Bielke, Jimmie Penshorn and John Tom Person; her aunt Marjorie Anderson; her niece Leea Staggs White; and her friend Gail Woolems Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, Brent Akin (Tracey Pogue) and Brad Akin (Leslie); her grandchildren, Stevi Harrington (Jake), Dawson Akin, Matthew Akin (Michelle), Mary Claire Akin and Amber Perez (Michael); her great grandchildren, Grace Harrington, Anna Harrington, Isabella Soto, Olivia Soto, Charlotte Harrell, Michael Perez and Natalie Perez; her sister Jerry Penshorn; and her sisters-in-law, Billie Staggs and Berniece Person. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
