He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Louis Heitman and Frances Trojanowski Heitman; his son Frank Heitman Jr.; and his siblings, Sophie Rapoza, Carlos Heitman and Johnny Heitman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Davis (James), Susan Meers and Janice Kolojaco; his siblings, Josephine Anderson (Leon), Peggy Kenvin (Ken) and Henry Heitman Jr. (Helen); and his sisters-in-law, Delores Heitman and Jeanette Heitman. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
