With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ray Bolick in Sugar Land, Texas, who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bolick and Dortha Bolick; his brother Fred Bolick; his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Fisher, Paul Fisher, Gayle Fisher and Betty Reese; and his nephew Nolan Fisher.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Bolick; his children, Kasha Korbut (Darin), Maverick, Nash and Kristen Conner (Dave); and his grandchildren, Levi, Scarlett and Waylon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Breakthrough T1D in honor of Jim, who lived his best life while managing Type 1 Diabetes for over 50 years.
