She was predeceased by: her mother Ellen Mamalis (Morgan); her grandmother Sonya; her father Arthur Mamalis; her brother Arthur Mamalis Jr.; and her husband David Edward Wynne Hunt.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Maxine Smith; her friend Johnny Waller; her sister Helene Wolfe; her children, David Edward Wynne (Mikki), Stephen Edward Wynne (Sonya), Matthew Fails and Julia; her son-in-law Jim Lake; and her grandchildren, Nathanael Hunt, Jeriah Hunt, Alexandria Hunt, Daniel Troutman, Luke Troutman, Michael Troutman, Jackson Hunt and Kyler Hunt.
A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Autumn Oaks Memorial Park (504 5th St, Orange, TX 77630, USA). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Christian Church (611 9th St, Orange, TX 77630).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to causes close to Mona's heart and reflective of her lifelong commitment to helping others rise through education.
