She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Richmond and Refugia Bazan; her husband Ruben Garza Sr.; her daughter Annabel Ochoa; her son-in-law Ernesto Hernandez; her grandchildren, Jose Eloy Garza Jr. and Bernice Jane Garza; and her siblings, Felicitas Rodriguez, Maria Scott, Agustin Richmond, Aristeo Richmond, Alonzo Richmond and Juan Richmond.
She is survived by: her children, Ruben Garza Jr. (Leticia), Sofia Villarreal (Leonel), Mario Humero Garza, Melba Hernandez, Norma Iris Perez (Mario), Lucila Garza and Jose Eloy Garza; her son-in-law Pedro; and her sister Emilia Wells. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lord & I Cemetery - Penitas (1005 E Expressway 83, Penitas, TX 78576). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (465 W Expy 83, Sullivan City, TX 78595). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Garciasville Cemetery.
