With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ben Spraggins of Sulphur Springs, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Homer Brantley, Archie and Flossie Spraggins; and his grandparents-in-law, Bobbie Black and Rayford Hoskison.
He is survived by: his parents, Gary Spraggins and Deanna Spraggins; his wife Amy Laine Spraggins; his children, Sallee Brooke Spraggins and Brodie Jack Spraggins; his siblings, Brant Spraggins of Sulphur Springs, Gary Spraggins, Jr. (Lindsey) of Heath, Lori Jones (Joe) of Fort Worth and Jodie Thomas (Aaron) of Fort Worth; his parents-in-law, Gary and Vickie Hoskison of Klondike; his grandmother Martha Jane Brantley of Sulphur Springs; his grandfather-in-law Betty Hoskison of Klondike; and his sister-in-law Holly Lane (Chris) of Longview. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews and aunts & uncles.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hopkins County Civic Center (1200 Houston St, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482).
