He is survived by: his wife Judy Hillis of Sulphur Springs; his children, Khristy Santjer (Eric) of Sulphur Springs, Alvin Eugene Hillis (Sarah), Melinda Hillis of Sulphur Springs, Paul Crites (Neomi) of Brunswick, Georgia, Sarah Dennison (Travis) of Anchorage, Alaska and Richard Clay Thatcher of Sulphur Springs; his grandchildren, Shelby Walker (Mitchell), Jarred Sutton, Morgan Ramirez (Chris), Dakota Hillis, Sierra Hillis, MacKenzie Hillis (Joanna), Madison Robertson, Macie Robertson, Naomi Crites, John Paul Crites, Eliza Dennison, Aquila Dennison, Kinnadiee Thatcher, Ty Thatcher and Evan Thatcher; and his siblings, Joe Hillis, Bennie Hillis, Ruby Atkins, Lennie Sharrow, Neva Yarbrough, Dorothy Shields and Minnie Reagor. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
