He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Atkins and Zelma Atkins; his mother-in-law Laura Killian; his brother Ric Atkins; and his nephew Jeremy Atkins.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Atkins; his pet Bruno; his siblings, Elaine Winburne (Gary Winburne) and Scott Atkins (Amanda Atkins); his sister-in-law Carolyn Atkins; his nephew Dennis Atkins Jr.; his niece Christina Silva; his grandchildren, Nyssa Jones, Colton Atkins, Rebecca Roeder, Jaryd Martin, Cameron Brown, Mark Atkins, David Silva, Devon Atkins, Nathan Brown, Harleigh Stegient, Karisma Stegient, Natalie Silva, Logan Stegient and Olivia Stegient; and also, Threasa Brown (Ray Brown) and Elizabeth Stegient (Thomas Stegient). He is also survived by 10 great Grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Lake Highlands Baptist Church (1500 College St, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482).
