It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Lavon Brodie of Sulphur Springs, Texas, born in Huttig, Arkansas, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon A. Brodie and Opal McCary Brodie; his daughter Ginger Brodie; and his sisters, Charlene Meadows and Edna McKenzie.
He is survived by : his wife Nancy Walker; his sons, Lee Layman (Debbie) and Randy Brodie; his sister Mary Morris; his grandchildren, Maranda and Skylar; and his nieces and nephews, Shelly Anderson, Melissa Richards, Joe, Jones, Ken Jones, Mark Melton, Carla Hopson and Chip Williams.
